Description
Hugh Laurie as Dr. House. I have to say I think out of what I think is 10 people I've ever drawn... this is by far the best one. Im actually kinda shocked.

Ok I will do my best to give you a fair and honest critique on this piece. First id like that the portrait is recognizable. Your facial features all look good. You captured the eye really well although I think it could be enhanced a little bit with some wrinkles below the eye. Your line work is good and I think the ear "which can be hard" turned out well. Maybe adding some darker and more crisp lines though the stubble and on the eye lashes would really help you. Also you are suffering from scanner white out. Never fear it happens to us all. I find that it helps to go into photo shop and play with the sharpness and brightness to bring your scan closer to original. Here is an example. before photo shop [link]

All in all you have good techniques and fundamentals and I think with some practice you are ready for the next level of portrait drawing. Good luck to you, and keep up the good work.
